The pre filter is just that. It is used to filter water being added into the RV Storage tanks with Filtration of 5 Micron filter thru a washable filter. The filter can be used several times depending on your looking after it. This is just what you will be looking forward to use in remote areas with questionable water. What ever you do, DO NOT FILTER WATER INTO YOUR STORAGE TANKS THRU A CARBON FILTER. This will only assist in the degredation of your water supply and encourage the growth of Bio-film which is the building block of Cancer!! Allways take a spare when heading off for a long period. This is because other filters available at other retailers may not fit precisely and as such affect filtration. |
